Why do I feel sad when I'm supposed to feel happy? Why does it seem that my house only gets clean when I'm upset or trying to avoid something? Why does it seem that when I want to do something for ME, that laundry baskets are overflowing with dirty clothes? Why when I want to have a soaker in the tub is the bathroom a mess? Why when asked for my opinions and suggestions do people completely ignore me when I respond? Why can't I live closer to the special friends I have? Why does housework only get done by one person unless you get mad and have to ask or tell in a not so pleasant way? Why do we always ask why? What does it even mean? As parents don't we feel a little irritated when our kids go through the stage where they ask "Why?" non stop until you get very irritated? That question gets asked a lot and on a regular basis. I remember when a friend of mine died in 1997, I yelled up at the sky, "WHY?"... repeatedly. Why do we ask why? Usually we know the answer but are looking for some validation in the response I guess? Hmm.. something to think about. Why do we ask why? Why do I ask why when I know the answer already? Why do YOU ask why?
